"Hey, Phoebe, what's this," she asked, holding it out.

Phoebe's face burst into a sunny grin. "Oh, my God! I haven't seen that in years! It's my medal from the debate team."

"Debate team? But you never went to high school," a perplexed Monica pointed out.

Her friend stared blankly at her. "Yeah. Did that stop me from learning French? Some of my street friends and I started up a debate team one day, for the hell of it."

"Kudos, Pheebs."

"Thanks!"
