Sometimes Control wishes that he was as ubiquitous as everyone else thinks he is.

"Send Teri to me," he orders over the squawk box intercom.

"Yes, Sir," comes the dutiful reply.

He pinches his nose, hard. He scrabbles in a drawer for a bottle of ibuprofen and one of Tums, both almost empty. He tosses the medicines down together, grimacing at the taste. Chasing them with cold coffee makes him seriously consider his hidden bottle of bourbon, but he leaves it alone.

< Why did she need a machete in the desert? Why on earth did she put in a reimbursement request for it? >

He didn't really want to know. Did he?
