Jonny never liked bleeding out. Of all the ways to go it was painfully boring. An explosion packed sudden excitement, torture held a pleasurable pattern. But the slow seeping of blood out of a wound his heart didn't find fit to heal was agonizing.
But here he is, on the floor of an unremarkable bar on an unremarkable asteroid with an unremarkable knife in his chest. He feels a familiar darkness creeping around his vision and yet he can't hear a single tick in his heart.
In the metanoia, he relishes the seeping of his wound. Jonny loves bleeding out.
