“Have you ever stopped to think about how boring it must be to be a mouse,” Phoebe asked, out of the blue.
Perplexed, Rachel looked up from the fashion magazine that she’d been thumbing through. ”Uh, no; I can’t say that I ever have.”
“Well, you really should give it some thought, one of these days. I mean, they spend all day hiding from predators. In between eating, sleeping, and fleeing, talk about ennui!”
“If you say so,” Rachel mumbled to herself, grinning a little. “You unbelievable weirdo.”
When it came to knowing Phoebe, there was never a dull moment.
