#053 Unilateral - Leverage - Tous Pour Un, Un Pour Tous
Title: Tous pour un, un pour tous
Fandom: Leverage
Author: Cat Moon
Rating: G
Characters: Eliot, Parker, Hardison
Words: 300
Summary: They aren't alone anymore.
Notes: "One for all and all for one," motto of the three Musketeers
"This is not good," Parker stated the obvious as they watched their current mark peeling out of sight in his pickup. He could be out of the area in minutes at that speed, and they might have lost him for good.
Meanwhile, Parker, Hardison, and Eliot were stuck on the side of the road with four slashed tires.
"We could sure use your mp3 zapper thing, Hardison," Eliot muttered, with a surreptitious wink at Parker.
"MP… c'mon, man, it's E-M-P," Hardison enunciated, "Not—" At Parker's giggle, he realized he was being messed with. "Oh, right, fine, make fun of the geek. You know I never got it back from that jerk Chaos."
A motorcycle caught Eliot's attention as it pulled up to the curb, and the rider got off and walked inside one of the stores lining the street. He started heading for it, his intent obvious.
Parker grabbed onto his jacket, pulling him back. "We don't make unilateral decisions anymore."
"We'll come up with something," Hardison added. "This guy kills people for sport; it's too dangerous for you to go after him alone."
"I been taking care of myself long before you two came along!" Eliot growled, bristling at the perceived slight to his skills.
"Yeah, and now you don't have to anymore. None of us have to go it alone anymore." Keeping eye contact, Hardison put his hand out. Parker immediately put hers on top of it, and they both waited until Eliot conceded with a nod, his resting on top of Parker's to complete the hand stack.
"Together," Parker murmured.
"So, how do we stop him from hurting anyone else? We have no idea where he's gone."
"Oh, I wouldn't say that," Parker told them with a grin. "I put one of Hardison's trackers on his truck."
