Summary: While Nathan had never been under the misapprehension that life on the countryside would be easy, he thought it would at least be more tranquil than London.
While Nathan had never been under the misapprehension that life on the countryside would be easy, he thought it would at least be more tranquil than London.
After all, who didn’t feel drawn to nature? Who could resist the appeal of those quaint cottages surrounded by acres of land which man had to cultivate with his own two hands?
He hadn’t expected that land to actually hide so many secrets, so many mysteries crying out to be unearthed, but which were better left forgotten.
And, by the time he realised what he’d carelessly dug up, it was already too late.
