River sighed in disgust. "You're the time traveler. Why ask me?"

"You're the archaeologist! Besides, I've never come to Helekimi Kaspi before, as difficult as that is to believe. And you did say that you've studied this culture."

Shushing him, River listened to the chanting. "Evidently, we're going to be roasted alive as a sacrifice to their chief deity. In about two minutes."

"Thanks for the edification," the Doctor snarled. "I suddenly feel much better about our current situation!"

"That's what you get for asking," River shot back.
