"Doctor!" Evelyn exclaimed as they entered the TARDIS. "I cannot believe you just did that!" Crossing her arms, she gave him a glare that might have made a Silurian run for cover. 

 

"Oh , what have I done now?" the Doctor asked, hanging the blue coat on a hook.

 

"You know perfectly well what it was" Evelyn replied. "You insulted our hosts! "

 

"Merely a difference of opinion" the Doctor said nonchalantly, fiddling with the console. 

 

"The Duke didn't see it that way. " Evelyn countered, "You as good as called him a maniac and claimed he was responsible for his planet's shortage of water. Then claimed you could've solved it in a matter of days.  " She sighed. "I thought you were past this arrogant attitude of yours. " 

 

The Doctor gave her a teasing look. "So I suppose this means you won't offer me any of that Belgian chocolate cake you were baking last night?" 

 

"Only if you're good. " Evelyn replied,  smirking a little.
