Summary: "What's strange? Did you get a chain letter written in invisible ink, or something?"

"That's strange," Davy remarked as he came in with the day's mail.

Micky glanced to him, idly twirling a drumstick. "What's strange? Did you get a chain letter written in invisible ink, or something?"

"If only it made as much sense as all that. I just saw Mister Babbitt out there, tiptoeing around as though he was afraid that the sidewalk was going to bite him. He kept looking at the Pad, and mumbling under his breath. It sounded like he was chanting, 'Don't let Dolenz get me'." Davy shook his head, befuddled. "I think he's finally gone off the deep end."

"He thinks I'm going to pull some prank. April first, you know; he's suspicious." Micky chuckled. "It's natural enough, I guess."

"His paranoia wouldn't happen to be justified, would it?"

Micky's laughter increased, as he took in the troubled look that Davy was sporting. "Sorry; you just tickled my funny bone, for a second. No; it's all in his head," he was quick to assure. "I'm not planning anything, honest. But the fact that Babbitt thinks I'm going to pull one of my stunts is really making my day special!"

"Micky," Davy sighed, "you're the quintessential loony bird."
