Summary: But Giovanni's shadow is long, and inescapable.

If there's anything to know about dealing with Silver, it's to never tell him to his face just how much he resembles his father. He has no use for what is, to him, a calumnious comparison.

Nevertheless, there are similarities. The physical resemblance is faint; but the slightest smirk, and you'll suddenly feel like you're staring right at Giovanni, instead.

Where the similarities are strongest is in Silver's personality. The drive, the arrogance. The pure, uncompromising ambition that won't let anything, human or Pokémon, stand in its way.

Silver may resent Giovanni, and deny how much they have in common.

But Giovanni's shadow is long, and inescapable.
