Summary: I'm no summery celebutante

This summer heat, I say, just isn't my bag
The blistering weather appeals not to me
But hot, sweaty days always seem so long to drag
Fugacious I wish the summer could always be

The sun is too bright, and it doesn't like me
I'm no summery celebutante
There's not enough shade underneath every tree
If outside I have the misfortune to jaunt

Oh, give me back the cold winter weather I want
And let that sweet chilliness forever last
Or at least give a swimming pool for me to haunt
I simply cannot bear each hot and ugly blast
