“Why are we here?” Nick let out the hundredth drawn-out sigh this hour.

 

“Exposure to the arts is beneficial for cultural awareness.” Lynn motioned towards Neil and the rest of his tenants, who were walking about the gallery wide-eyed and slightly baffled. “It’s about time they appreciate art that doesn’t move and make loud noises.”

 

“I see.” It was apparent he did not.

 

After a few minutes of blissful silence, Nick spoke again. “Hey, look, some bozo accidentally put this spill on display!”

 

“That’s a Pollock.”

 

Nick blinked. “A pile of what?”

 

“Tsk.” Lynn turned his head before muttering, “Philistine.”
