The juxtaposition of turquoise water and cream-colored sand was soothing, along with the gentle sound of waves washing onto the shore. The island they were relaxing on was isolated, empty but for the two of them.
"This is the life," Rory declared, stretching out in a beach chair.
Amy sipped at a tropical drink. "It's paradise," she agreed, sighing contentedly. "No danger, no death, no destruction."
"No Doctor."
"Aaaaaaaaghghghhghghhgh!!!"
At the sound of the familiar shout, Amy peered over her sunglasses at Rory, a smug grin on her face.
"Spoke too soon," she teased. "Let's go rescue the idiot."
